Q.

#asktheexpert my son is a very poor eater. He only eats plain wheat chapatis. I have tried to mix in Dal's, vegetables etc in the chapatis but he has rejected them all. can I give him protein powders in the chapatis? if so please suggest which ones can I give.

A. Yes you can if your paediatrician suggests you to do so, Protein deficiency is very uncommon if a child has access to a variety of foods and doesn't have a medical condition that might keep them from taking in enough protein.
