#asktheexpert My son is 4 years old. From the last two weeks, he started saying that he is having stomach pain but its not frequently, only once in a while. Not sure about the reason for pain.

A. Causes of abdominal pain in children bowel (gut) problems – constipation, colic or irritable bowel. infections – gastroenteritis, kidney or bladder infections, or infections in other parts of the body like the ear or chest. food-related problems – too much food, food poisoning or food allergies.
