#AskTheExpert my son is 4 months old has attopic dermititus. and is ichy a lot. we have been puting desonide cream on recomendation of his padiatician and dermatologist. is there a natural way of healing it permanently

Lukewarm soaking baths (less than 10-20 minutes)
use mild soaps that are fragrance free and with a neutral or low pH
Moisturizing skin immediately after bath use coconut oil.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. Try adding colloidal oatmeal to your baby's bathwater to help improve dry skin, diaper rashes, mild eczema, and other skin ailments. Oatmeal baths aren't a cure for anything, but they can help ease symptoms along with other skin care treatment.
