#AskTheExpert My son is 13 Months old and he is having a very hard stool since 3 days. Almost once a day but with lots of effort. Also, he has fever of approximately 100F since 3 days, which goes after taking 1.5ml of crocin. What should I do now?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. fever is quite. amuch. baby on touch can have warm soles and head. It s a normal and healthy thing.
Check temperature at armpit level and if above 99 fahrenheit then we treat fever in babies.
Can give drops paracetamol like calpol / T 98 / Sumol as per ba y weight . Can be repeated every 6 hours .
fever is an immune response and is a sign so if fever is recurrent and persists then we need some tests and need a pediatrician visit
