as such no medicine required ,you may try some basic remedies like ,we apply baby rub on chest and back of child when he or she is having cold and cough infection
but as baby is newborn baby ,it is advisable to use baby friendly rub like Babyhug rapid relief rub.
you may give massage using mixture of warm coconut oil and tulsi leaves
