A. At 6 months, it's common for babies to experience periods of crying or fussiness, which can be due to various reasons: Teething: Many babies start teething around 6 months, which can cause discomfort and make them cry or scream. You can offer teething rings or chilled items to chew on to ease the pain. Hunger or Thirst: Ensure your baby is feeding properly and isn't hungry or thirsty. Growth Spurts: Babies go through growth spurts, which can lead to increased crying. They may be hungrier or need more sleep during these times. Tiredness: Sometimes, babies cry when they are overtired but are unable to fall asleep. Try to create a calm and quiet environment to help them relax. Gas or Stomach Discomfort: Babies at this age can experience discomfort due to gas or digestive issues, which might cause them to scream. Illness or Discomfort: Check for signs of fever, cold, or any other illness. If your baby seems unwell, a pediatrician's consultation may be necessary. If the crying persists or you notice any other concerning symptoms, it’s a good idea to consult your pediatrician to rule out any underlying issues.
