#asktheexpert my son advil is1 year 5 month old he started walking at 1 year 2 month. his legs are little bit wide on calves is this a symptom of rickets.

A. this type of of legs is totally normal. no treatment is required except proper diet. kindly continue vitamin d supplemzents if you are not taking the child in sunlight. if proper diet is being given then there is no need to worry about any calcium supplement. the curved lxegs/ bend legs usually take a normal shape by two years to three years of age. if in doubt then meet the doctor.
