#AskTheExpert My son 8 months old his weight is 7kg..his birth weight is 3.3kg..I m feeding him homemade multigrain cerelac.. what should I give him to gain weight..

A. weight is good for his age..! Give three meal and one snack a day Continue Giving bm/fm in between and on demand. You can give Daal Khichdi with adding variety of veggies like Spinach, potatoes, beans, carrot, pumpkin, broccoli... Give Ragi , makkhana, rice, porridge adding fruits like peach, pear, apple, avcado, banana... Give wheat Dalia adding veggies. curd rice, curd roti(soaked), Daal roti(mashed and soaked) is one of the best meal for babies.. You can add few drops of ghee and dry fruits Powder in each preparation to enhance nutritional value. .

A. weight is absolutely normal dear give fruits and vegetables, whole grains, legumes, fish, and meats. Babies will try anything. Use this time before they become picky to build their tastes for foods you want them to eat forever. While iron-fortified baby cereals can be healthy, don't overdo them...you can start Dexolac Stage 2 formula also this time ...it will absolutely helps for weight gain...
