#asktheexpert my son 1.4years got fever for the past 2 days , fever not subsided after giving calpol 250, so giving meftal p, 5 ml every 6th hour he gets fever .. otherwise his appetite is ok , no cough or cold , no stomach upset .. what can be the reason of the fever .. plz help thanks in advance

A. it is not advisable to use repeatedly meftal syrup to the baby e most of the times try to use paracetamol only if the fever is not subsiding the medicines better consult doctor
