#asktheexpert my one month old kid is crying when he is awake and when he is on the bed.when we put on our lap or cradle he is fine.whats the reason?

A. it is very common that during the initial few months the child gets comfortable sleep only in the arms or lap or shoulder of the caretaker and when you shift to bed the child might start crying.x this is fine and normal and usually improves with age. you can use swaddling technique as well as cradle sleep to improve the sleep cycle of the child.
