my newborn is 17 days old today... even after giving her hot bathing breastfeeding she doesn't sleep properly.... on my lap she gets a sound sleep... but once I put her on bed or to cradle she wakes up and again cry for feeding...she is not having proper sleep... whereas as my 1st kid who is now 8yrs ... when she was infant .... she used to sleep morning to evening and not much crying also for feeding...

Don’t compare to child because both the kids are going to be different also the sea what you are mentioning is your child is sleeping comfortably in your lap so you have to understand that your child is comfortable sleeping in the lap because the child is gotten used to it so if you want your child to sleep directly on the bed you start feeding in the Line position I think that your child is going to learn to sleep directly in the same position
