#asktheexpert my mother says breastmilk increases only if baby sucks our nipples and have milk, by pumping it doesn't increase, is it true? my baby doesn't suck my nipples so I pump and give, by doing so will milk supply decrease?

A. Hello dear parent! Not sure how true it is but frequent pumping is said to increase the supply. Consult a lactation specialist. Continue feeding your baby well on demand. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil. Good luck and take care
