Q.
#AskTheExpert My kid is regularly passing stools once in every 3 days.. sometimes it takes 5 days to pass stools.. the stools becomes very hard when he passes and he is crying while passing..For now it is more than 4 days since he passed stools. We have given fruits and liquids, but he didn't pass stools at all.. we had given laxative yesterday night as per doctor recomendation still he is yet to pass stools

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. this type of stubborn constipation may be there in some babies which may continue upto 3 to 4 years of age you have to continue the water and fruits which you are giving you can use occasionally dulcolax suppository
