#asktheexpert my kid is having dark patches in inner thigh started from groin area. and some times it have red patches little swollen. what is th issue

provide soothing baths, antihistamines, and topical creams like calamine lotion.
apply atarax anti itch lotion to decrease itching.
if severe or persistent, consult with a pediatrician for further evaluation and potential prescription medications. d

Without an assessment is difficult to say why swelling and all is happening it’s better that you get a check with your paediatrician once whatever the situation is they’ll be able to clear it up for you and treatment and medication can be suggested according to that only
