#asktheexpert my daughter simply refuses to take food anytime of day, although she is active but is not gaining any weight since last 3 months

POOJA GOSWAMIMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Food refusal can be due to teething as during this time there is too much drooling and irritation in gums. Try to feed easy to swallow foods in chunkier puree form. Play while feeding and do not force feed as it may lead to loss of interest in eating. You can feed in a separate room, away from distractions.
