Q.

#asktheexpert my daughter is ten months old. I give her a balanced diet of fruits, vegetables, cereals, protein and also breastfeed her two to three times a day. She has not gained weight since December. She crawls and stands now and remains active during the day. What food items can I add to help her gain weight?

A. Hello ma’am You have not mentioned the current weight of your child so I would just like to tell you if your child is eating well and if your child is somewhere around 8 to 10 kgs or triple the birth weight by the age of 12 months then that is an ideal and healthy weight to continue whatever you are feeding to your child as the palace that that you are providing is good
