#AskTheExpert my daughter is one month old.she is breast feeding. once or twice given bottle fed. from 26 day irregular bowel movement. twice a week. 6-7 times urinating. frequently passing wind.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. the baby is only one month of age There is no need to use any medicines for constipation in babies below the age of 6 months a baby can go without passing stool even after 8 to 10 days also it is common in babies of this age

Constipation is common in new born babies. So no need to worry. Ur baby can also go without poop for 7-8 also. So no need to worry if ur baby is active and comfortable otherwise.
