Q.
#AskTheExpert my daughter is controlling the stool to her max potential. we tried various method to help her pass the stool; however she does that every opportunity and pass it out in very little hard quantity. Is there any method to make our life easy?

Author of questionGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Thanks Doctor. Shee is eating and the stool comes everyday, but the problem is she controls it from getting it out. more than 30mins to 1 hr, she stand on the same place and controls it until the stool passes inside. after 4-5 days also we have to make her do situp, run, etc to pass out without her knowledge.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr old girl4 years agoA. it is due to ten hard stool. Hard stool is very common in babies ; due to low fiber and water intake . So increase the quantity for water and fiber . Also lactulose can be used if severe constipation is there and it is trouble some .
