#asktheexpert my daughter is 7 years old so she having thyroid so we have already confirmed with max doctor medicine will be continue till 3 years so pls guide when I was pregnant so I had thyroid after delivery thyroid has been transferred to my daughter

A. If there was a very high levels of TSH while you’re pregnant, then cretinism will be there, but not hypothyroidism in the baby, so it is mostly genetic and not directly transferred during pregnancy.
