#AskTheExpert my daughter is 3 months old. her head is not round.on right side of head is flat, forehead is upward, headcrown is also upward not flat. what should I do?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Flat head in Babies is very commonly seen mostly on one side initially when the baby is not flipping on the sides in the first few months . so because of the continuous pressure over the soft skull bones such flattening can be there . This normalises by itself gradually when the skull grows in size and shape with age .
No mustard seed pillow or any such kind of intervention like massage is required and doesnot help for the corrrveyection .there is nothing to worry at all.
