#asktheexpert my daughter is 3 months old her birth weight was 2.950 kg now she weights 4.150 kg ? I feel she have low weight gain she is on both BM and FM

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr old girl4 years agoA. Hi dear good afternoon Try to feed for longer duration. 15-20 mins each breast. This way baby will get balanced foremilk and hind milk. Foremilk comes in the beginning for 5-10 mins then comes the hind milk which is rich in fats and can help baby gain weight. So always empty a breast each
