Q.

#AskTheExpert My daughter is 3.4 yrs old. Last week at school, she got a tiny scratch in her hand from an iron table. It was not rusted. But the school PPL cleaned the bleeding wound with antiseptic solution. She was given booster dose of tetanus injection (DTP) 1.8 yrs back. Does she need to take TT injection again? Today all of a sudden, she has got high fever. Could it be due to this reason? Is it too late to give TT now? I am really worried.

A. no need to take TT since the baby received DPT already as in vaccination. if there is no relief it is better you see your doctor for proper examination particularly physical examination if there is need for doing investigations to find out the problem and treatment ok
