#AskTheExpert my daughter is 2.2 years old. she is having 102 fever since last night . which subsides with paracetamol for 3-4 hours. no other symptoms. she is playing well.

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the ftirst line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repgreating. and you can also do cold sponging of the body if required
