#AskTheExpert my daughter has fever since yesterday. Today she has vomitted once and then had loose motion.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. after recurring nausea/ vomiting wait for one hour then give vomiting medicine (syp ondem/emeset) 5ml and then again wait for one hour and then give only easily digestible food.
do not give anything to eat in this 2hr waiting period.
if vomiting ozccurs again then meet your doctor.
avoid giving milk and heavy diet.
vomit usually occurs due to gastritis

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. Encourage your child to rest and drink plenty of fluids. Medication isn't needed. Call the doctor if your child seems unusually irritable or lethargic or complains of significant discomfort. If your child seems uncomfortable, give your child acetaminophen (Tylenol, others) or ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, others).
