#AskTheExpert my daughter does not eat by herself AT ALL, even if left hungry for 7-8 hours she also doesn't chew food... just swallows what can I try

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. children dont chew till 5 years.its ok only.See it looks ok only.but if you doubt then for your satisfaction show to a doctor there as they can examine the patient and give even a better opinion in this case .

Jasmine KaurMom of a 9 yr 3 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent, this is normal. Some children take time to learn to eat by themselves. For this you will have to give your baby food to eat on her own atleast once in a day. She would mess it, be prepared. But do not leave without trying.
