#AskTheExpert my child is 2 and half month. There is some yellow discharge from his eyes since last night

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. Frequently eye discharge may be due to allergy, infection or trauma by nail of baby or blocked nasolacrimal duct.
If it is due to blocked nasolacrimal duct since birth we have to reopen that duct with massage
Massage from inner side of eyes to the tip of nose.
It will help
Nasolacrimal duct can also be blocked due to nasal congestion
Visit ur nearest pediatrician once for detail examination of ur baby.

There may be some infection or allergies
do clippings of nails regularly
Wash eye often with cold water
Clean it up with soft towel
No need to worry
It will correct soon
