#asktheexpert my child (boy) is not talking frequently ,he is making some.noises etc and some time says bababa etc but doesn't not talk properly,he is able to understand everything but is not able to convert into words properly,he is 18 months old please guide

Baby start monosyllables like ma,da,at6-7 months of age.and bisyllables like mam,dada at 9-10 months of age.baby staty to say 2 worss at 12-14 months of age.baby can speak simple senstences of 2-3 words at 20-24 months of age.some baby achieve these at early and some may delay in achiveing that .no need to worry for that.encourage your baby to speak.
