My baby who is 2 months old use to do potty with a gap of 6 to 7 days. Also, while taking the feed he always push harder to his stomach as he is trying to pass gas or potty. Although, he passes the gas often. Please advise on gap in doing potty, pushing hard while taking feed may be sign of gas or trying for potty. Also, advise sometimes he is not accepting the feed may be for about 8 to 10 hours during night but only cries.

there is nothing to worry about it as in case of a small child it us not necessary to pass the stool daily so Just relax and all the best for you and your child

Hi, newborn babies will pass motion once in five or six days or seven days. Check the urine count. Baby should pass urine 6 to 8 times in a day or more than that if the urine count is less than that then please check with your paediatrician for top feed. And always and get the weight checked once in a month. You need to feed once in every two hours. maximum gap should be of four hours not more than that. If baby you’re sleeping also you need to take the baby in sleeping only and gently massage on the back of the ear so that baby will start latching. And burp your baby well and put back the baby to sleep during night time. Please make sure to feed once in every two hours which is very important for baby growth￼Write Your Answer Here
