#AskTheExpert my baby is teething, and so is very hardon my nipples. I have developed soreness again. What should i do to relief the pain in my nipples?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. it is quite natural that sometimes babies will be waiting at the nipple if you are having pain you can apply nipcare ointment are you can as well apply butter also

please do the following things:
try different feeding positions.
use nipple shield for time being.
apply freshly expressed breastmilk or nipcare cream on wound.
but always rinse it well before you start feeding.
wear loose fitting cotton clothes.
keep that area clean and dry
maintain good hygiene
