#AskTheExpert my baby is premature born at 30 weeks.. her birth weight was 900gms.. she is 10 months old now but still her weight is 5.7 kg.. what should i do to gain her weight..though she is very active.. can speak dada, kaka, kay, atta etc and has started crawling little bit..

A. Hi, Generally babies get their weight thrice by 1 year and twice by 6 month of their birth weight. Give weight gaining food like paneer oats eggs pulses rice ghee in dal cheese mashed potatoes mashed banana apple puree. If baby is active, no worries as active baby tends to have lower side of weight. Give eggs and more protein and calcium rich diet
