A. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months . child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age . just make the child comfortable and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly. if the speseech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .

A. Hello dear parent, your baby is only 1 year 8 months old. So it is absolutely normal for your baby to not speak properly. As baby will grow more above 2.5 years of age he will be able to speak better. You will, have to speak to your child a lot and in a very clear tone.
