#AskTheExpert my baby is nearly 4 months old and is gassy all the time. complaints of flatulence since 2 days and has not passed stools

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Gas in smaller babies is a very common and a Matter of concern most of the times for care giver.
its mostly because of immaturity of the gut . formula feed or early introduction of cows milk in babies may be agiggravating factor. proper burping after each feed is very important.v
Enzyme preparations like aglozyme or vitazyme can be beneficial.Also colicaid drops can be given.
