Cough along with Cold most of the time is a  viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectgforant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor accoxrding to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

I could be either we community or if it is fever which is repetitive for the child then I believe your child is suffering with some kind of an infection which is not subsiding and that is leading to fever every now and then so you may as well get a check with the doctor because that way you will be more sure about itWrite Your Answer Here
