#asktheexpert my baby is facing running nose issue... and his throat is dry when he is coughing. what can i do... plz hlp me

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever.
Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyresatics analgesics and decongestants .
steam inhalation would be beneficial .
Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .

Also avoid giving curd or fruits till his runny nose is settled.
