#asktheexpert my baby is 9 month old sgr isn’t eating solid food at all just relying on my feed Has a bit cold Is it a problem to worry ?

A. don't loose hope and keep trying to feed him solid

A. Hello, your baby girl is 9 months old and she doesn’t like to take solid food items but only breast milk feeding so give her iron and multivitamins syrup twice a day

A. Cold is a viral disease that usually occurs with symptoms like sneezing, running nose, cough ,sore throat, nasal congestion and fever.at times it can be allergic too. Treatment consists of antihistamines, antipyretics analgesics and decongestants . steam inhalation would help in relieving congestion n soothing the irritation in nose and throat .you can give sinarest/wikoryl /ascoril flu cold in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms but it will be better to take only under medical guidance.so please get examination and treatment done by your pediatrician it will be better.no smtelf treatment advisable.it may take upto two weeks also in recovery so dnt worry if gradually symptoms are getting relieved.child will resume normal activities thereafter.
