#AskTheExpert my baby is 8 month old she is suffering from loose motion. i m changing 4-5 diapers per hour. before this my baby omits all the stuff which is eat by her. what will o do

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Loose motion most of the time is because of some infection which could be viral or bacterial and in such case it is associated with symptoms like fever along with vomiting and loss of appetite .
supportive treatment is very necessary where proper hydratiorn should be maintained by giving ORS aflong with that probiotic can be given like enterogermina or econorm in a proper dose .
Antibiotics has their role only if it is bacterial infection . for this doctor guidance is necessary .
