#AskTheExpert My baby is 6 weeks old now..she got umbilical granuloma and umbilical hernia..I m worried so much..what is the treatment for it.

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician2 years agoA. apply medication as prescribed by your doctor hernia you can wait till 1 year of age To boost lactation take lactare tablet and galact granules add oats and meat in the diet take lots of the oral fluids maintain hydration and keep a track on urine output

It usually resolves on its own by six months.
Also consult your doctor for the same as he will guide you better in this after the proper evaluation of the baby.
