#AskTheExpert My baby is 4 months old. There is a little smell in his left ear. We got this checked with our paediatric 4 days back. He asked if there is fever, baby is crying etc. But baby is normal Please suggest what needs to be done

A. consult ent if smell persists do not insert anything in ear. if baby is irritatble not feeding well or has ear pain better to consult with your doctor for examination and treatment for the same. if it's wax seen outside just clean it up with wet cotton cloth. it will improve

A. thanks Doctor. he is not crying or showing any other symptoms of worry. nor there is sizable wax seen in ear. But smell is there. should we go to ent or wait
