Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. it can be considered in normal in 2 month of baby age constipation in small babies is very commonly seen and is more with babies who are fed with formula milk. Usually constipation of few days is considered as normal in babies below 6 months of age,you can give bonnisan drops 3 times a day to your child will and give frequent feeding, usually medicines or suppositories are to be avoided in such a case .if baby is having gastric pain you can give collicaid drops.give proper tummy time and burping to avoid gastric trouble.. In case of severe constipation of above one week you can give suppository but only under medical advice.

Exclusively breastfed babies sometimes do not pass stools even for a week, it is alright as long as your baby is active and normal. Continue breastfeeding your baby well on demand. Give good tummy time everyday. Keep Babyhug tummy roll on handy. Consult your child’s doctor for advice.
