Q.

#AskTheExpert My baby is 2.5 months old. Her birth weight is 3.74 kgs and lowest weight was 3.39 kgs. She was 4.6 kgs when she was 1.5 months old. When checked now, she is 5.2 kgs. She has gained only 600 gms in one month. Her pee count is more than 6 and poop is alone fine. She is exclusively breastfed. Is it a matter of concern?

A. the minimum weight gain should be more than 500 grams so kindly do not worry and continue to give breastfeeding to the child and also take plenty of water and milk which will help in increasing the milk output
