#AskTheExpert My baby is 11 months old. Her weight is 8 kgs. She is very active. She was quite chubby till 6 months, but started to get lean. She doesnt eat much and breastfeeds only. Her teeth have not erupted yet. Plz suggest if she getting leaner coz of teething. By when her teeth would erupt?

Weight gain in a child is a good indicator for proper health of the child and there should be a regular weight gain as per the age of the child. if there is not a proper weight gain it can be because of many factors and three most important causes are
Baby not taking enough calories
Baby is nguot absorbing the enough calories which the baby is taking
Barby is burning too many calories .
So a proper assessment is very important to know the cause regarding this .
