Q.

#AskTheExpert my baby is 10 months old. His birth weight was 2.8kgs and he weighed 8.3 Kgs in June (7 months) after that he had diarrhea episode and lost half a kg (7.9 kg) and ever since he has not been able to regain his lost weight. Infact his last weight was 7.8kg @ 9.5 months. It's been almost 3 months that he hasn't gained any weight. He is on breast milk and 3 meals + 1 snacks a day. Is it normal to not gain weight in 3 months span?

A. yes it is ok for baby. For proper growth over all for weight gain and height and good skin and hairs give green leafy vegetable and fruits and good protein source like egg and paneer or soyabeans . Protein powder like pediasure can be started after 2 year only .
