#AskTheExpert my baby is 10 month old she is biting my nipple while feeding and its hurting me lots so painful my nipple was cracked plzz tell me what can I do

mam,it might happen because of teething phase.
please give massage with clean finger on sore gums of your child.
you can experiment with different feeding positions.
you can also use nipple shield for time being.
apply freshly expressed breastmilk or nipcare cream on wound.
but always rinse it well before you start feeding.
whenever your child does this , take your child away from breast for few minutes and say no firmly.
