#AskTheExpert my baby is 10 month now. i am breastfeefing.. i didnt got period till now.. should i concern?

KatyMom of a 7 yr 2 m old girl4 years agoA. Dear Mother, Worry not. I got my periods after 2yrs of delivery. And it was normal. Fulltime breastfeeding is one of the reason for delayed periods so don't worry at all. if you don't get your periods until 18months of your delivery then please go and see a gyneac. There is irregularity of periods after delivery due to the hormonal changes. Breastfeeding mothers get their periods back once they stop to breast feed the baby. So no need to worry
