#asktheexpert my baby is 1 year and 4 months age and weighs 9 kg. is this sufficient at this age

A. hi...Your baby tends to have doubled his birth weight by the time he turns 4 to 5 months old. On average, your baby should gain about 400 to 500 gm weight per month. As per the average baby weight chart, the weight gain of your baby during 6-12 months drops to 57 to 113 grams per week. By the time your baby turns one-year-old, he tends to weight about 2 1/2 – 3 times his birth weight. So if baby has roughly doubled his birth weight then do not worry
