#asktheexpert my baby having throat infection cold what medicine should I give .she is a new born baby 27days gone

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children1 Year agoA. ytgv. in monsoon season there will be recurrent viral infections main reason for cold and cough sometimes it can be because of allergies also please give steam inhalation frequently and antihistamins

try to prevent temperature variationsc around the child
you can go for indirect steam inhalation which will again help in decreasing both cough and cold
continue the regular diet of the child
if there is nco improvement in few days then meet your doctor
for fever and pain give paracetamol.
anti-cold medicines at this age have got side effects so can be given only after medical consultation.
