#asktheexpert my baby has a red patch on her back neck... it's like he has itching on it... should I be concerned

A. it may be allergic urticaria Rash baby is having apply calamine lotion on them For further advice it is advisable to consult your local doctor for appropriate examination if there is need for investigations also then only proper treatment can be given to you o . K .

A. Do not touch the area. Avoid scratching, poking, or otherwise touching the area. ...Oatmeal. ...Baking soda. ...Cold wraps. ...Antihistamines. ...Corticosteroid creams. ...Other ointments. ...Bathe in lukewarm water.Using a very gentle soap.Using a gentle detergent and no fabric softener in baby's laundry.Using skin moisturizers.Applying a steroid cream (like hydrocortisone or even a stronger one) if the eczema won't go away.
