#asktheexpert my baby girl is 5 months old bt her weight only 5.8 kg. is it good weight for my child?

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. yes actually not bad. see when there are skin lesions you cant comment online. best approach will be to show to to a near by doctor who can give opinion n treat. see with babies not all will be as per text. each baby has her own pace of learning n milestone s ok. so don't stress unnecessary.

Well That would completely depend on the birth weight of the child since you have not mentioned that I would you say if your child double the birth weight before the age of six months or by completing the age of six months or it is more than double the birth weight and that’s an ideal weight gain
