Loose motion most of the time is because of some infection which could be viral or bacterial and in such case it is associated with symptoms like  fever along with vomiting and loss of appetite .
supportive treatment is very necessary where proper hydration should be maintained by giving ORS along with that probiotic can be given like enterogermina or ecbonorm in a proper dose .
Antibioticcs has their role only if it is bacterial infection . for this doctor guidance is necessary .

Give your baby breastmilk more often.Also, give extra fluid if breast milk isn't keeping up with the fluid losses. You can use formula or ORS (Pedialyte).Solid foods: If on baby foods, continue them. Cereals are best.
