Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 8 m old boy4 years agoA. it is totally normal for small children to strain while passing urine and stool and it may be a normal phenomenon but if you feel that the child is crying more than normally then meet your doctor to rule out urinary tract infection
